Superintendent, (One Year Agreement) 2007 – 2008
· ISBE recognized District and School Improvement Plans as exceptional.
· Professional Learning Communities, all departments completed alignment of like assessments.
· $30,000,000 grant was awarded the district for economic development
· Two school foundations were created (performing arts and general education).
· WORKKEYS scores were improved due to district’s increased focus on reading literacy.
· Allocated resources for initiatives resulting in improved test scores for Applied Science students.
· Served as President of the Board of Control of the Technology Partnership for 6 districts.
· Established a focus on “catching people doing things right”, resulting in year-end video.
